Installer Checklist

**Please follow this guide for photo and video documentation of site and equipment conditions. 


New Install Documentation


Pre-Install

  • Site on arrival

  • Any pre-existing damages to site before install (if applicable) 

  • Hardware packaging

  • Any damage to hardware packaging (torn/holes in packaging, indentations, potential impact damages, etc.)

  • S/N tag of all hardware (if applicable)

  • Hardware turned on prior to install (to confirm no panel damage)


During-Install

  • Establishing photo of overall space

  • Establishing photo of equipment locations

  • Media player location

  • Modem location

  • Cable path from media player and modem to screen(s)

  • Fan location (if applicable)

  • Outlet locations and any other materials used for power (extension cords or strips)

  • Photo of mount(s) or locations before displays are installed on them


TV Display Configuration

  • Power on the display

  • Make sure settings are correct

    • Disable Power Save settings

    • Set Time and Time Zone

    • Set Failover settings for proper input selections

    • Set Power on Source 

    • Set Power on/off schedule if applicable

    • Set Video wall mode (If Applicable)

      • Number of Columns and Rows

      • Tile # for each display

      • Document primary display and sequential cable path to follow.


  • Check that media player settings are proper - (Does the image work as it's supposed to?)

    • If not, check network connections

    • If Network connections are correct, work with Duggal System tech to troubleshoot further issues


Post-Install

  • Full overview of installation (wide angle)

 

  • Full over of installation (close up)

 

  • Screen(s) edge conditions within framework

  • Screen(s) edge conditions to each other (if applicable / videowall only) 

  • Video of content playing (5-10 seconds) 

  • Location of remote control(s) left onsite

  • Location and photos of employee accessible, buttons, plugs or devices



















Retrofit Install Documentation


Pre-Install

  • Site on arrival (before removing damaged hardware)

  • Any pre-existing damage to site before removing existing hardware (if applicable)

  • New hardware packaging

  • Any damage to new  hardware packaging (if applicable)

  • S/N tag of all new  hardware (if applicable)

  • New hardware turned on prior to install (to confirm no panel damage)


During-Install

  • Media player location

  • Modem location

  • Cable path from media player and modem to screen(s)

  • Fan location (if applicable)

  • Outlet locations and any other materials used for power (extension cords or strips)

  • Photo of mount(s) or locations before displays are installed on them


Post-Install

  • Full overview of installation (wide angle)

  • Full over of installation (close up)

  • Screen(s) edge conditions within framework (if applicable)

  • Screen(s) edge conditions to each other (if applicable / videowall only)

  • Video of content playing (5-10 seconds)

  • Location and photos of employee accessible, buttons, plugs or devices

  • Location of remote control(s) left onsite

  • Removal of hardware from site (e-waste disposal)
